The Best LinkedIn Message to Recruit Insurance Agents
The best LinkedIn message to recruit insurance agents is short, personal, and ends with one easy question. Name something specific about the agent, say who you are in one line, and ask if they are open to hearing about another option. Save the details for the call.

What are the parts of a good message?
A reason you picked them, one line about you, and a question. The reason can be their license, their years in the business, their city, or something they posted. It shows the message was meant for them.
The question should take five seconds to answer. Asking whether they are open to looking at other contracts is easier to answer than asking for a 30 minute call.
What should you leave out?
Income claims, long lists of carriers, links, and anything that reads like it was pasted to a hundred people. Agents get these every week and ignore them.
Leave out pressure too. A message that sounds calm gets more replies than one that sounds urgent.
How long should it be?
Under three sentences for the connection note, and not much longer for the first message after they accept. If they have to tap to read the rest, it is too long.
What do you send after they accept?
Thank them and ask the question again in different words. If they reply, offer two times for a short call the same day. If they do not reply, one polite follow up a few days later is enough.
Write your own version of each message so it sounds like you. Agents can tell when the voice on the call does not match the voice in the inbox.
Common questions
Should I mention my company in the first message?
A short mention is fine. A full pitch is not. The goal of the first message is a reply, not a decision.
How many follow ups are too many?
One or two is plenty. After that, move on and put your effort into new people.
